Consulting was present at the APACT09 conference!
APACT 09 is an open forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances in engineering and scientific topics relevant to process analytics and control technologies.
AJM Consulting gave a paper at the conference. The paper titled "Development of an innovative process diagnostics system for real-time detection and cause identification"
was given by Alan Mason on Wednesday 6th May 2009.
We also exhibited MS2 and showed some of the latest features to get more information from your data.
2009 User Group Meeting
The 2009 User Group Meeting was held at our Grimsby offices on May 8 2009. This
was an exciting and interesting day with the new version of our data mining
system, MS2 version 5.1 being released at this meeting and copies distributed to all current maintenance contract holders.
A tutorial covered the
new and upgraded features.
New for this meeting were papers from users, describing how they have applied MS2 and what they have achieved. Dr Carl Steele of Sellafield
Ltd kindly agreed to present the keynote paper, describing numerous applications
at this major nuclear reprocessing facility.

MS2 V5.1 Released!
We are pleased to announce that the latest upgrade to our established MS2 manufacturing support system is now available. It was released at the first MS2 User Forum, held at our Europarc (Grimsby) offices
in May, 2009. Its first public demonstration was at our stand at APACT09 in
Glasgow on April.
Version 5.1 builds on MS2's proven success by adding new functionality and, above all, even better ease of use.
MS2 is designed to help complex operations to be understood, enabling real quality and yield improvements. Since its launch in Spring 2006, over 20 companies have invested in the technology; it is being applied to pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, agrichemicals, fibres, pigments, paints,
medical and many other sectors. Developed in co-operation with the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT) at Newcastle University, it offers innovative and advanced techniques which are both affordable and easy to use.
